Agile Product Owner Certification

At my previous company, I spearheaded the testing and implementation of AGILE methodology across company processes. I managed and prioritized the product backlog, wrote user stories, and participated in AGILE sprint planning. As part of the new processes, we implemented new tools such as Jira and Yammer to increase collaboration and transparency. This resulted in an 80% decrease in defects related to communication. 

In May 2014 I took a deep dive in the world of agile product management and passed the Professional Scrum Product Owner certification from scrum.org . My favourite part of the course was learning about the different new types of metrics such as absorption rate, product index and innovation rate.

I'm a big fan of the Agile methodology. I like the visibility it provides for key stakeholders, both of the project's progress and of the product itself, which in turn ensures that stakeholders' expectations are effectively managed.
